About Any 2 Cards Poker League


Any 2 Cards Poker League was founded by Adam Cornell and ran its first tournament on the 20/7/2008 at The Globe Hotel in Ballarat Victoria and has been going from strength to strength ever since.

After a couple of years of managing and running this league, Adam has handed the reins over to Brad and Tamie Jew who have some plans and ideas of their own to enhance and expand this league

A2C Tournaments are aimed at the average Joe who enjoys poker and a social night out. A2C provides a relaxed environment whether you are a “gun” poker player or a beginner playing Texas Hold'em Poker for the first time.

All players start regular tournaments with 3000 chips and have an opportunity to get another 5000 chips if they fill out their “Chip Me Up ” card by spending $10 at the venue where the tournament is being held.

Members who bring along a new player will receive a “Bonus Chip" card worth 1000 chips. Each new player also receives a "Bonus Chip" card worth 1000 chips. However no player can receive more than one “Bonus Chip" card per night.

If there are 3 table's then 3 names are drawn out and 4 names for 4 tables ect. Players who have their name drawn out will win 3000 in chips regardless of whether they are still in the tournament or have lost all their chips and get drawn back in.

The winner of each tournament will win a Any 2 Cards Poker League card guard, and the venue Leaderboard winners and the Top 3 on the Season Champion Leaderboard will be provided with transport and entry fee into a Tournament at Crown Casino at the end of the 10 week season

There is also a nightly "Jackpot" to be won. The Minimum amount of the Jackpot is $10 and will go up by $5 each tournament the Jackpot is not won! How it works is the player that randomly choses the No. 2 seat (Big Blind) position when determining the final table seating and wins the tournamanet will win the Jackpot! N.B. The Jackpot will only be played for if there is 16 or more players in the tournament.

We also have an optional $5 Buy-in on all night apart from Thursday and Friday nights which is a $10 Buy-in. This adds a bit of spice to night with a bit of added incentive for all involved.
