Season 7 final and Christmas breakup a great success!
The Season 7 final was won by Lee Cornell with Michael Lewis coming second in which was a great heads up battle that could have gone either way. Emily Vleugel was third and played some great poker to get there. Jesse Horvath made his second final table in a row in Season finals and is one of the more consistent players in the league.
Kevin McMahon was again the Season points winner (Now called the Season champion) which means he has won Seasons 1,5,6 and 7. Well done Kev!
Some minor changes will be made to the points system for Season 8 including only being able to use your "chip me up" ticket for the final table draw. This means that every player will only have one ticket in each. Any "2nd chance tickets" drawn at the final table will be put aside until a "chip me up" ticket is drawn.
Season Champion
What used to be call the "Regional points winner" is now called the "Season champion". Players will need to play ten games in order to qualify, after ten games are played total points will be divided the amount of games played which gives each player an average. The player with the highest average at the end of the season will be the "Season champion"!
